sacai Teases Upcoming Nike Vapor Waffle And Blazer Low Colorways With SS21 Lookbook

Objectively one of the most exciting Nike collaborators of the moment, Chitose Abe has many looking down during her runway shows and lookbooks, these onlookers inspecting the upcoming footwear expected for months down the road. And while we caught a detailed glimpse of the Vapor Waffle back during Sacai FW20, SS21 brings with it even more colorways as well as the first official reveal of the designer’s newly tweaked Blazer Low.

Like that of the LDWaffle before it, the Vapor Waffle simply arrives once again with a new breadth of colorways. Dark purples accent the entirety of the mesh and suede construction on one — paired with stacked white sole units as per usual — while its complement prefers the more neutral visuals of a tan palette. Subtle bits of color work their way in via the swoosh, branding, and subtler details, calling further attention to a few of the multiplied accents as well as the usual logos.

The Blazer Low, as we face it frontward, seems to bear a look not too unlike that of the Blazer High that precedes it. Aside from its stature, the offering exhibits a similar panel architecture, stacked midsole, and swoosh formation. Even the colorways are somewhat reminiscent as louder bits of color are pared down by neutrals of the opposite spectrum. Here, green plays support to grey side walls and white overlays on one option while its accompaniment opts for a much louder duo of white and orange.

Grab a quick look at these right here and sit tight as we await pricing, release dates, and more images. As usual, expect this info to arrive closer to 2021.
