Although the Air Jordan 1 has yet to see the implementation of GORE-TEX or 3M™ Thinsulate™ like its Nike Air Force 1 counterpart, the silhouette has recently emerged in an all-black ensemble ostensibly designed with cold weather in mind.
While not unfamiliar to the Jordan 1 Mid, a triple-black ensemble has only appeared on the model in smooth and tumbled leather construction before. The former takes overs the forthcoming pair’s signature overlays, but sits atop a quilted base. Unlike the ACG Moc 3.0 or MX-720-818, the modified, mid-top Jordan 1 boasts a pronounced, diamond-shaped arrangement across the forefoot, midfoot, and collar. Sole units don’t indulge in any patterns, but revel in the versatile tonal color scheme. The only touch of color that interrupts this retro is the white Jumpman logo on the sockliner.
An official Nike.com release date is still unknown, but this Jordan 1 Mid is likely to launch quietly before 2020 ends. In the meantime, enjoy images of the pair here below.
In confirmed Jordan release dates, the women’s Chrome Jordan 6 arrives on September 24th.
