Florida’s Trophy Room, headed by the GOAT’s son Marcus, has whipped up an intriguing Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG collaboration inspired by the original “Chicago” colorway and the storied accomplishments of his father. Utilizing the iconic color-blocking of the iconic red/black/white, a pre-yellowed midsole is added to enhance a vintage focus, while the exterior panels, outlined with contrast white stitching, appear to me a synthetic material with a bit of a lux finish that exudes somewhat of an stone-encrusted look. The soles are also opaque, revealing large stars at the footbed, while a circular Trophy Room leather patch is seen sewn into the insole. Perhaps the most provoking detail of this Trophy Room Air Jordan 1 is the silhouette of Michael Jordan’s signature, place firmly at the heel, while OG-style stitching is featured on the inner sock-liner – perhaps denoting a size, potential individual numbering, or other serial numbers. According to @zsneakerheadz, these are releasing soon – November 11th to be exact. See below for a first look.
