The Nike Kobe 6 “Orange County” From 2011 Is Slated For Protro Treatment In Fall 2021

News regarding any Kobe Bryant-related products virtually disappeared following the girl dad’s tragic passing on January 26th of this year. And while there’s still some hesitancy when discussing Bryant’s product line with NIKE, Inc., more rumors continue to emerge sparingly. The latest?: A Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Orange County.”

First seen in 2011, the “Orange Peel/Black/Cannon” pair was designed as a nod to that year’s host-city of NBA All-Star Weekend: Los Angeles. Accompanied by propositions inspired by East LA (shoutout Boyle Heights) and Hollywood, the “Orange County” arrangement proffers a sunset-reminiscent gradient onto the silhouette’s scale-laden upper. Tongues and collars boast a solid citrus tone, while profile swooshes and molded heel structures interrupt the OC-inspired palette with their silver makeup. Underfoot, Zoom Air-encapsulating midsoles and their multi-directional tread forgo any vibrant color scheme in favor of “Black” and cool grey duo.

Enjoy a quick look at the Kobe 6 Protro “Orange County” here below, as you wait for a Nike SNKRS launch to arrive.

For more from NIKE, Inc., the Air Jordan 11 “25th Anniversary” launches on December 12th.
