Compared to this week, the last was but a simple opener for the main performance. This Thursday alone has to be one of the most eventful days of the year so far, as both Jordan Brand and Nike are dishing out a heavy handful of standout releases. Alongside, we can expect some revivals on adidas’ end as well as the first Yeezys of 2021.
First, before the public loses their hair trying to grab one of the many Dunks, adidas will be bringing back their Forum ’84 Lo in an OG-inspired “Bright Blue” colorway. Also, their hyped up Yeezy counterpart will be coming through with the Yeezy Boost 380 “Yecoraite.”
Nike is arguably more in the spotlight due most in part to their ensemble of Dunk Highs and Lows. We can expect the former to be offered in “Vast Grey” as well as the more colorful “Football Grey,” while the latter sticks closer to the classics in “UNLV,” “Black/White,” and a UCLA-influenced “Coast” blue. The Swoosh will also be paying tribute to the original Air Max 1 on the same day with a premium “LV8” upgrade.
And come Saturday, Jordan will have debuted not just one but three different releases. The Air Jordan 35 is celebrating Chinese New Year a bit early, Westbrook’s Jordan Why Not Zer0.4 will be seeing its “Family” colorway, and the Air Jordan 13 “Starfish” will have dropped in its full family size run.
