“Don’t talk to me before I’ve had my coffee” is a phrase often reiterated time and time again, often by the same people ad nauseum. And for those fanatics specifically, Nike has prepared an extensive range of caffeinated releases that’s soon to span to a women’s exclusive Air Max 97 SE.
But while its inspiration is undoubtedly single-origin, what ensues is a scheme far less overt. At the exterior, the palette simply pairs together a number of earth tones, few, save for the entire Sail-tinted midsole, as light as a latte. The mudguards, which build out of a robust suede, are dark like a medium roast, matching that of the mesh underlayers, laces, and linings seen layers above. Elsewhere, thicker strips of leather accent around the entirety of the top half in dark tones, Swooshes mark atop in a bright orange, and the insole marks with a cat huddled within the ceramic of a Nike-branded mug.
Grab a detailed look at these below and expect a Nike.com release to arrive likely within the next few months.
