An odd color combination, it’s hard to tell why the Slam City’s caused so much of a buzz with its brown suede uppers. Maybe it’s because of the caricature of Jesus on the tongue, or the map on the insoles. It might possibly be because of the fact that the swoosh changes color, after it wears down after hours of skating. This allows the skaters to have a distinguished look compared to the fashion heads, who keep thier kicks in pristine condition. Whatever the reson might be, all that’s truely known is that they are one of the more popular SBs. Not that these were designed by Slam City Skates of the United Kingdom, hence the nickname “Slam Citys”. Photos: Kixclusive
