New Balance 991v2
The New Balance 991v2 is a lifestyle sneaker produced by the Boston company as a follow-up to the original 991. As compared to the New Balance 991 proper, the biggest change comes underfoot, with a revamped sole unit that features a full-length Fuel Cell unit for enhanced propulsion. Outside of that hardware change and select changes to the upper tweaking the shoe’s overall profile, the Made in UK staple remains true to the construction that made the 991 so popular.
The New Balance 991v2 was first debuted in September 2023 with the help of UK imprint Stone Island. It made its way to the NB mainline shortly after, notably serving as a centerpiece of the Boston brand’s Spring/Summer ’24 MADE In UK calendar.
