The New Balance 991v2 “Gold Earth” Releases On September 11th

Fitting seasonal tones for the closing half of the year.

The New Balance 991v2 “Gold Earth” Releases On September 11th

Updated August 28th, 2025: The New Balance 991v2 “Gold Earth” is now expected to release on September 11th alongside the New Balance 991v2 “Dusk.”

Shockingly, the premium New Balance 991v2 has been among the most common sights in the NB universe throughout 2025. The Boston brand has made new color-ups of the Made in UK silhouette readily available on a consistent basis, and a fresh crop has now surfaced, including the New Balance 991v2 “Gold Earth.”

Consistent with the “Caramel Cafe” and “Catawaba Grape” pairs that accompany the one at hand, this pair delivers simplistic, refined style, doused in burnt orange tonality up top with a split midsole underfoot, delivering white and off-white swatches with monochromatic pops embedded within. As most of its mainline releases do, it’s a pair that leans into everyday wear and cut-above materiality, sporting Flimby’s best pig suede and leathers for an extremely well-built addition to the rotation.

Of course, that also means a cut-above price. Already available at select retailers, the New Balance 991v2 “Gold Earth” clocks in with a $250 MSRP, expected to get a wider launch via NB and partnering stockists for the Fall/Winter season.
