Yesterday, we got a little peek at the eagerly anticipated White/Infrared Varsity Red Air Jordan VI’s and now we get our best look yet at the upcoming Retro version of the shoe. As you can see, like the upcoming Black Retro Air Jordan VI, the OG Infrared has been replaced by Varsity Red accents, but at least these stick to their original upper material. The Black/Varsity Red pair switched from nubuck to suede, but the White /Varsity Red edition will sport a full leather upper, making them even closer to the look of the original. Varsity Red or not, these will still be selling like hotcakes when they drop next year. These beauties are slated for a limited U.S. release, but you can lock yours down by pre-ordering now at Osneaker.

Get used to it people. I don’t mind the change up in red. It’s called a Retro, not an exact duplicate. Retro’s are supposed to reflect the old item, but with a new twist that reflects today, not yesterday. Quit downing everything just because it’s not the way you remembered it. It’s a retro folks. Retros colors, toe shape and etc. are supposed to change.
