No matter how many times Michael Jordan will say no, Spike Lee knows “it’s the shoes”, but this time around, it’s Spike’s shoes we’re asking questions about. Spike was spotted in his usual position at Madison Square Garden when the Knicks took on the Sixers Friday night. The decorated film director was wearing a pair of the Grape Air Jordan Spiz’ike, a colorway that won’t release until April 2010. Among the Garden crowd was former Knick Charlie Ward, actor John Turturro, Olympic Gold Medalist Lindsey Vonn, and some former New York baseball greats, so check out pics of Spike Lee and his Grape Spiz’ikes after the jump.

Damn spike is a loyal knicks fan, this man ain’t jump off the bandwagon yet. I got give this nigga his props for his loyalty but them shoes on his feet look more like a royal color than a purple color. It’s time we give this shoe a different name.

This is one of the most confusing shoes ive seen.Ok is there any difference from these nd the ones wit white elephant print.Idk if Im blindbut where are the peforations.this shoe is ok take of that damn 23, nd change the lace lock.

they are perforated as I have these already. I agree not much “grape” action but who cares. the spizikes are only for one thing. head turning and these fit the bill.. Monsta?
