Nike Air Max Penny 1 – Black – Varsity Purple | Spring 2011

Sneaker News showed you two upcoming colorways of the Nike Air Max Penny 1 as part of our Nike Retro Basketball Spring 2011 Preview. Here’s a closer look at one of the two colorways; Black and Varsity Purple is a first for the Nike Penny line (remember, the Nike Air Foamposite One isn’t technically part of the Penny Line) but you might remember the Phoenix Suns colorway of the Nike Air Max Penny IV that had hints of orange as well. This Black/Purple Penny 1 features an all-black upper with black/white piping, a black/purple jewel swoosh, and a purple air unit.
