The NBA All-Star Game for this season will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA, setting the stage for five-time champ Kobe Bryant to take home All-Star Game MVP honors on his home court. In the odd chance that he and fellow All-Star Pau Gasol share the MVP, the Laker duo would have repeated the feat completed by Karl Malone and John Stockton in 1993, when they each took home half an MVP trophy during the All-Star Game that was held in their home court in Salt Lake City. For the All-Star Game, Kobe Bryant will wear this new colorway of the Zoom Kobe VI, which features a red snakeskin TPU upper above a red-black-red gradient base layer, a black heel-cup and midsole, and a translucent outsole. These are strikingly similar to the upcoming Black/Varsity Red-White colorway but what sets the All-Star apart is the special insole and tongue along with the more minor discrepancies. Take a look at this detailed gallery of Kobe’s All-Star shoes for this season after the jump and let us know what you think. via taobao.
