Nike Is Bringing Back An Air Max 90 From 2002

A real "if you know, you know" sort of pair.

Though unquestionably lower on the pecking order than the Nike Air Max 95 this year, the Air Max 90 has still managed to carve out its fair share of moments, including a Grateful Dead x Oregon project and, more recently, a Size? collaboration celebrating the retailer’s 25th anniversary.

Next up is the return of a beloved style originally released in 2002. Two key texture swaps define the look: black croc skin leather on the quarter panel and Coconut Milk satin on the toe box, collar, and tongue. Note that the 2002 release featured leather, not satin in those areas. Grey Swooshes and Nike Air branding tie in with the mudguard window and midsole wedge, while a Coconut Milk midsole and black outsole round out the pair underfoot.
