Though many of the touchpoints from the original “Mixtape” series remain intact from the previously released version in 2019, size? makes their inspirations for this shoe clear in their social messaging, depicting the Off-White, “Bacon,” and this shoe’s yellow predecessor in a short teaser video. Notably divergent is a translucent backtab that pins typical Nike Air on the exterior while showcasing the brand’s trademark question mark branding one below. Additionally, the usual mesh arrangement on the toe here shifts to perforated leather, seemingly a nod to the Dizzee Rascal collab from 2009.
