Nike LeBron Line To Outfit Three College Teams

Nike and Jordan Brand ballers Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony have been outfitting their AAU, high school and (where applicable) college teams with gear and player exclusive sneakers for years now.  The first two guys on that list skipped college altogether, which gives them the unique liberty of switching between schools, as is the case again this year with the Nike LeBron line.  Having previously outfitted the Akron Zips, King James stays loyal to his home state with another round of Ohio State player exclusives.  And since he was spotted in Wildcat colors at Rupp Arena last year, it’s not shocking to see Kentucky re-up with the King, but it’s the addition of newly-local University of Miami that makes this new lineup so interesting.  Will Ohioans further express their displeasure with the prodigal Chosen One or is this just a great opportunity to see some sick new PE colorways for models like the Nike LeBron 9?  Either way, with the threat of a longterm NBA lockout stretch looming, this might turn out to be a very shrewd move by Nike to ensure that the latest LeBron kicks will still get some shine on the hardwood this season no matter what happens.  via SunSentinel
