Kim Kardashian’s NikeSKIMS empire is expanding its presence in the footwear realm with a new collection for November 2026, moving beyond the NikeSKIMS Air Rift with a trio of Waffle Racer colorways.
We’re using the term “new” loosely here. The NikeSKIMS version is hardly different from most general releases, doing without the kind of hardware transformations that set the NikeSKIMS Air Rift apart from its parent, for example. To the uninitiated, the Waffle Racer came to life in 1977 as one of Nike’s first-ever running shoes, using the same waffle iron outsole method seen on the Waffle Trainer (and the Nike Moon Shoe prototype) from a few years earlier. The only real separator here is the branding, with NikeSKIMS logos landing on the tongue, heel, and insoles.

“The Waffle Racer is one of those shoes I’ve always come back to. It’s so easy to wear and never goes out of style,” says Kim Kardashian. “Being able to reinterpret a silhouette with so much history was incredibly special. We wanted to preserve everything people love about the original while bringing a distinct NikeSKIMS perspective to it, creating something that feels timeless, elevated and relevant for today.”
The NikeSKIMS Waffle Racer arrives in three contemporary colorways: Baroque Brown, Thunder Blue, and Light Bone/Varsity Red. All three drop November 10th at nike.com/NikeSKIMS and the SKIMS website, followed by apparel on November 17th. Retail is set at $130 per. Check out detailed pics below if you’ll be after a pair.
