Several noteworthy Superstar designs have come from adidas’ Far East connections, whether it’s bold animal print styles, Japanese collaborations or designs borrowed from an earlier Chinese partnership. The latest has some of that last energy on full display, though it’s not entirely clear for what the trailing acronym on the adidas Originals Superstar EMW stands. Something like a Stripe-less take on the kzkLOT Superstar 80s Breathe, these mostly mesh shelltoes opt for understated branding and bold white contrast stitching on black and brown pairs. You can see how these compare against the established Superstar library in more photos below, and stick with Sneaker News to see if they make it to US retailers.
