Not long after bringing home a Gold Medal, Jordan Brand athlete Carmelo Anthony showed off his latest top-shelf additions – a ring of Air Jordan IV colorways that at this juncture were just a PE/special edition made for the star athlete. Not even a peep regarding a release has been made, but in light of the recent confirmation of the Air Jordan IV ‘Thunder’, it’s safe to say that anything’s game at this point. More recently, Carmelo Anthony, who just finished a nice weekend in Puerto Rico promoting the game of basketball while giving back to the community, was spotted wearing the most energizing of his Air Jordan IV stash – the tonal red colorway that drew instant comparisons to the much-coveted Air Jordan V ‘Raging Bull’. These are clearly built with nubuck materials (like the Cavs IV) rather than the aforementioned suede, but does it matter? These would fly off the shelves in an instant.
