As a refined expression of the heralded 99X series, the New Balance 9060 has explored an exclusively neutral-based palette aside from its more titular collaborative efforts. Before the ABZORB-cushioned solution returns to the latter’s comfortability, a clad-black arrangement is in the works.
Aside from the luminous purple heel clip, the entirety of the overtly layered ensemble is decked out in pitch-dark tones. The ballistic mesh and suede-constructed upper don’t leave an inch of real estate for a contrasting hue. The continuous jet-black allure is stretched from the tongue and laces to the enlarged sole unit underfoot while color-matched stitching throughout the effort imbues the versatile offering with a fearlessness towards dirt and grime.
