Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG “Obsidian” Release Postponed

Updated March 21st, 2025: The SNKRS release for the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG “Obsidian” has been delayed to March 29th, 2025. Other retail partners may follow suit and postpone the release as well. Stay tuned.

The Air Jordan 1s you know and love from the late 2010s are returning as low-tops in 2025. Sandwiched between “Game Royal” and “Rookie Of The Year” releases is the UNC-adjacent “Obsidian” colorway from 2019, shown here as an OG Low ahead of its March 22nd release.

If you were around to witness the Jordan 1’s insane popularity spike back then, you need little overview regarding the color touches at play. Just like the high-top, the low features a “Sail” leather base, “University Blue” around the heel, and “Obsidian” on the lining, outsole, and rest of the overlays. The high-top is noted for having a better-than-usual leather quality when it comes to AJ1s, and it appears the same can be said about its counterpart. The official image gallery below reveals a slight tumbled texture, although it’s probably unlikely the materials are the exact same.

The Jordan 1 Low OG “Obsidian” releases March 22nd in full family sizes; available via Nike SNKRS and retailers. See official images below and visit our Jordan Release Dates page to preview more upcoming 1s.
