Nate Robinson’s Air Jordan Collection

April 16th, 2013 by / 23

nate robinson air jordan collection 20 Nate Robinsons Air Jordan Collection

Nate Robinson’s love for Air Jordans was a perfect match for the Bulls’ acquisition of the entertaining backcourt player. Of course no Bulls player will ever wear Jays quite like Michael did, but Nate is indeed the only player since Jordan to consistently wear Air Jordans in his rotation. His in-game rotation was impressive to say the least, with some nice gems like the Air Jordan VII “Miro” and “Hare”, which makes total sense because he tells ESPN that his favorite model of all-time is the Air Jordan VII. We know Nate’s got a nice collection of Jays, but take a look at just a portion of his 150+ pair stash below and let us know what pairs you have in common with him.

dope collection. nice to see someone showing love to the 16s, i hope JB release some 16s & 17s. i'm not a fan of the 2s, but those red joints are nice.

Not really that impressive IMO.

@Hubert Willis But if you notice, the paint chipped is on recent or upcoming releases. He knows not to even wear or hoop too much in the older, more rare pairs

@Lilmr81 its impressive because these are the shoes he hoops in. Most sneaker enthusiast may own these but they are not playing ball in theirs.

@PaC you've made a valid point - even though there's no evidence he really did (at least not that i know). either way - especially many of the latest 3's midsoles will chip while you're hoopin' in 'em for the first time. (gotta give Nate probs for not hiding)

I agree I respect him for balling in them... Considering they are given to him I don't find it impressive. I hope this is a portion of his collection.

@f211s @Hubert Willis @PaC There was an interview MJ did with Ahmad rashad on that NBA show that aired on saturdays and Mike stated that he wears a new pair the first half and a new pair the 2nd half of all games. He also said he did it like that his entire career

@Hubert Willis @PaC in open court on nba tv in one episode, reggie miller stated that MJ would wear a new pair every game.

@Lilmr81 yea its def only a small portion. He is always a feature on celebrity sneaker stalker via nicekicks wearing kicks that are not featured in this blog entry. This was literally a feature on jordans that he plays in.
