Nike Air Force 1 Low – Kung-Fu Militia by GourmetKickz

Nike Air Force 1 Low – Kung-Fu Militia by GourmetKickz

Chef of GourmetKickz has been in the game for some time now and seems to enjoy capturing themes and playing off of his restaurant-esque website setup and business model. This latest release called “Kung-Fu Militia” is a far cry from edible sole food, but still showcases Chef’s attention to detail and taste for fine fabrics, elements certainly deserving of the GourmetKickz branding. The idea for this creation came about from a special customer request whose interests included Kung-Fu movies and who had served in the US ARMY. Chef pulled these two very different themes together and cooked up the dish you see above. Two different types of oriental embroidered satin fabric are used on the heel and toebox, and authentic BDU camoflauge is used on the frontal and vamps. There is some unique suede piping which frames portions of the AF1 in a manner not yet seen on any Nike release which gives the sneaker a great finish. Other details include contrast black stitching over a “Dark Wasabi” swoosh, custom tongue tags, and a chef’s blade at the base of the lacestays. This release is limited to 12 numbered pair and they are currently available for order on GourmetKickz site.
