A Bathing Ape has the tendency to polarize young fashionistas. Some love their rugged urban-military approach to streetwear, while others are frightened by what they view as garish colours and designs. The latter crew might complain about the company name along the midsole, but they’d be hard pressed to find anything else about this pack that isn’t perfect.
The Bapesta 88 Track Pack includes 8 kicks — 4 different colours, each with a Low and a Hi model. The Hi versions of black, brick red, Timbo-yellow and olive green are more or less the same as the lows, with the former providing a longer lace and some extra ankle support. The Track Pack evokes the image of a trusty old hiking boot, so we’re not sure how they got that nickname. They’re not available yet, but we’ll update with more pics and a release date as more info hits the streets. Since you can’t wait that long, we have a shot of each one after the jump.
