Puma California SE Women’s – Winter 2008

We often bemoan sneaker companies’ “pink it and shrink it” approach to womens sneakers — efforts like Married to the Mob’s Dunk Hi Supreme are usually more satisfying.  Here’s another interesting ladies kick, and it doesn’t have a stitch of pink.

These new California lowtops from Puma do feature some prominent stitching.  The upper is tan suede and the chocolate Puma stripe features red, yellow, green and white stitching.  The first three are repeated in stripes along the lining and heel.  Though these retail for around $65, they have some upscale details like five sets of laces with metal aglets and a gold Puma logo lacelock.  They’re set to drop December 11 and Zappos usually has every colour.  Via HB/Pics from Kenlu
