Originally released as the running mate to the Dunk in 1985, the Nike Big Nike is poised to make a triumphant return. Although the Big Nike has a similar look to the Dunk, it also appears to have drawn some of its influences from the Jordan I and the Terminator as well. Once championed by 80’s NBA big men, such as 7 foot 7″ skyscraper Manute Bol, nowadays the retro version will probably a better fit for the street than the court. They will be re-released in a crisp white on white version with some subtle elephant skin material wrapping the heel and ankle. via Colmilludo.
