In the years since the original Air Jordan Dub Zero, laser-etching has become one of the more popular ways to add texture and liven up old standby models. This new pair of Nike Blazer Mids is a prime example of proper execution: an etched upper serves to add depth to the simple white and black colourblocking. These Blazers are called “J Walking” because of the “J” shapes used in the etching pattern, and if you look closely, you can see little stick figures in a “walking” pose. Right up there with the Tier Zero black Blazers we saw earlier this week in terms of elegant execution.
