Vans J-Lay Mid – Black Teal

Vans Pro Skater Johnny Layton’s debut signature model has recently released in a brand new mid top version featuring premium materials. The Vans J-Lay Mid – Black Teal is inspired from the mid top basketball shoes that skateboarders often wore in the 70’s. This particular signature model features a unique upper made almost entirely of smooth teal pig suede. The shoe does have some black leather on the toe box, tongue, and heel tab to match the included black laces. The shoes rest on a white mid sole with a matching teal pin stripe, along with the skateboarding friendly classic Vans vulcanized waffle sole. Johnny’s initials grace the out sole and the heel tab, while his signature appears on the tongue tag below the infamous Vans ‘Off The Wall’ logo.
