The Vans Owens High LS attempts to push skateboarding function and fashion to the next level. These skate shoes feature a multicolored combination of suede, nubuck, and leather on their upper. The mostly black upper is accented with a perforated orange toe box and heel collar. Black suede covers the toe and heel area to protect where one would get the most skateboarding wear and tear. The shoe also boast a few green accents on the eye stay, heel tab, and a subtle paint fade on their molded Megathane PU mid sole. A black quilted leather hi-top collar is also splattered with green to offer a bit more style as well as increased ankle support. The classic Vans side stripe is outlined with just a touch of white to match the mid sole and interior. The classic red Van’s “Off The Wall’ skateboard logo adorns the tongue. Other details include a molded Vanslite EVA sock liner, a rubber out sole and two sets of laces. The Vans Owens HI LS Black/Green/OJ Fader is available now on Eastbay.
