Today marks exactly 12 years since the world lost one of the greatest lyricists to ever walk the planet, Notorious B.I.G. aka Biggie Smalls aka Frank White. To our knowledge there has never been a widely publicized sneaker related tribute to the fallen icon, until now that is! Leave it to Chef of GourmetKickz to whip up a few dishes that pay respect to the man that “went from ashy to classy”. What you see above is a 3D mock up, apparently taken from Chef’s recent innovation The GourmetKickz Creator, of his Notorious B.I.G. Tribute Series. So far there are three designs available, each one pulling inspiration from an iconic image of B.I.G. or piece of art. There is no word on whether these designs will become publicly available on the GourmetKickz Creator for further personalization. However, Chef tells SneakerNews that this series will remain available on his site for a limited time only. In an effort to get these customs to the biggest Notorious B.I.G. fans, GourmetKickz has partnered with one of the world’s largest hip-hop sites www.datpiff.com to publicize this special release. The sneakers will be available on both GourmetKickz site and DatPiff for a limited time, so if you like the look of these 3D mockups, just imagine how they will look on your feet! Given GourmetKickz previous releases, we are sure you won’t be disappointed.
