Nike has released an increasing volume of player exclusive (PE) edition kicks lately, and with the start of the NBA Playoffs today, their timing couldn’t be better. Having already seen limited size runs of the Carlos Boozer and Pau Gasol versions, let’s add two more to the ‘other’ playoff pack. The Nike Hypermax appears here in the two versions mentioned above, plus one each for the New Orleans Hornets’ David West and the Miami Heat’s Jermaine O’Neal. Each of the four big men finds their team colours comprising the shoe’s palette, plus a signature logo on the heel. D.West and C.Booz’s kicks come in black, while O’Neal and Gasol’s signature sneakers feature a white base.
