As you may already know, in what might seem like a odd pairing, Jeff Staple has partnered with Airwalk to create a new collaborative collection to be sold in Payless shoe stores. To kick-off the endeavor, Airwalk and Staple hosted a Past.Present.Now launch event at New York’s Openhouse gallery where they showed off some of Airwalk’s classic models, as well as the 9 new styles designed by STPL. Over 400 guests were in attendance to show their support to the project with DJ Neil Armstrong providing the sounds for the evening. The Staple Design x Airwalk collection will be available in nationwide Payless stores and on their website beginning August 11th.
