Nike will be teaming up with BET and producer-extraordinaire, Just Blaze, for a new take on the HOT 16 rhyme competition. Aspiring mc’s are invited to submit their best 16 bar verse for a chance to win a trip to NYC to participate in the 2009 BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher, as well as shot at a trip to the 2009 BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta. Entrees should be t.v.-friendly, meaning no sex, profanity or violence, and should also incorporate the concept of what “Be True” means to you. If you’re interested, you’d best act fast, because the deadline for entrees is tomorrow, August 28th.
