WWD reports that fashion designer Richard Chai and Keds collaborated on a small men’s collection of high and low tops styles from Madras canvas to charcoal gray leather, with edgy details such as zippers in lieu of laces. The shoes will be released in January 2010 and prices has yet to be determined. “They’re such an iconic brand,” says Chai, a self-professed sneaker buff. “Initially, I just wanted to use their shoes for the show, but then the conversations started.” Stay tuned for more info forthcoming…
