2009 has been the Year of the Blazer. For the first time since the late ’70s, we saw more Nike Blazers than Dunks, and this trio exemplifies the kind of creativity we saw throughout the oh-nine calendar. Each pair adds a single contrast colour to an otherwise monochromatic upper: red with black hits, pink/violet and a purple/teal mix you could certainly dub ‘Aqua’. Each is covered by a square mesh fabric whose shiny grid might have people mistaking these for ballistic nylon from afar. Make no mistake: all three are available from Limited Edt.
