The shoe pictured above symbolizes two decades of unified Germany and is yet another example of the powerful effect of tonal greys. They’re applied in a concrete-like splatter pattern on the leather Swooshes of these ‘Berlin Wall’ Air Pegasus 89s. A black and purple shoe would have been too high-contrast and flashy, but the use of greys both furthers the theme and balances the Pegasus while enhancing its vamp. Expect these on December 4th at Euro retailers like Schuh-You.
