As already seen with the Bulls and 76ers editions, adidas is reintroducing the Phantom II to the world by way of a super-limited six city campaign that will see the forgotten basketball model done up in the color schemes of some legendary NBA franchises and given to one shop per region. Here we get our first look at the New York Knicks edition that was presented to Packer Shoes. As you can see, this Phantom II sports a solid orange upper, midsole and laces with just a few hints of white for some contrast. Like with the other Phantom II’s we’ve seen, these also feature the team name on the heels and the logo on the tongue labels and insoles. At least for now, these aren’t expected to be released for retail, but it looks like the Phantom II may be poised for a 2010 comeback in some shape or form. Unfortunately, this Knicks colorway will only be distributed to Packer Shoes friends and family, but at least you can get a look at some detailed shots of the shoe after the jump.
