With the comeback of the Foam species, as well as the 1/2 Cent’s creation, we reflect on an underrated NBA superstar from the diminishing years of b-ball’s golden era. When word of the Nike Air Foamposite One Copper was released last year, reviews were mixed. “These look disgusting”, some said. But every time Sneaker News dropped new details and images, those frowns quickly turned upside down, and soon the Copper Foams became the “IT” shoe for the first quarter of 2010. Recently, some unfortunate news about a possible release delay of the Copper Foams was disseminated, reported even by nationwide retailers. Those new developments threw off plans of dedicated sneakerheads, as some were saving up for quite some time to finally get a pair of the penny-colored Pennys.
Well, the delay in the release was just a false alarm; the Nike Air Foamposite One Copper is set to drop tomorrow, February 13th, which was the original set release. Getting a pair won’t be easy and penny-pinching won’t do you any good as these will probably hit the $300 mark on re-sale.
