The Nike Penny line garnered a considerable amount of success despite Penny Hardaway’s short duration as an elite player; he was top-tier for four seasons until injuries rendered him short a few pennies from reaching the upper echelon. Even after a decade of irrelevance to the sport, the Nike Penny line is still a sneakerhead favorite – the Foamposite One being the most prominent. The Nike Air Penny III (3) could’ve been the 1/2 Cent of the 90’s; Foamposite upper, visible Air Max unit, a summary of all the Penny models that released until that point.
