Each year, the Boston Celtics break out special uniforms to celebrate what’s gotta be the most popular holiday in their heavily-Irish-influenced city. St. Patrick’s Day means green and gold like Notre Dame, and the Detroit Pistons couldn’t keep up in this fight. The C’s stomped the D by a quarter-century’s worth of points, and shooting guard Ray Allen made sure luck was on his side by wearing some hot gold-on-white Air Jordan Hallowed Grounds. Green on the Jumpman insignia and medial heel clover embroidery made these a perfect match during last night’s beatdown, and you can see more photos after the jump. via Yahoo!
