The Nike Zoom GT Cut 4 Bounds Into The “Year Of The Horse”

One of the Swoosh's splashier new faces gets in on the action.

The Nike Zoom GT Cut 4 Bounds Into The “Year Of The Horse”

Nike has always seen the Zodiac calendar as a bountiful creative surface, but their efforts towards the “Year of the Horse” might be their most forceful to date. It’s a genuine full court press across lifestyle and hoops to meet the CNY moment. Following in the footsteps of current hardwood titans like the Kobe 8 EXT and Ja 3, the Nike Zoom GT Cut 4 is minting its own “Year of the Horse” edition.

The futuristic, modeled uppers of the GT Cut 4 naturally lend to two-tone looks, again the case for this commemorative edition. “White” and “Light Chocolate” split across the lateral and medial sides, with fitting “Metallic Gold” handling the sole unit. The real stamp of this pair’s purpose comes with a horseshoe badge on the heel, almost emulating an actual wax seal with glossy finishes and uneven linework.

The Nike Zoom GT Cut 4 “Year of the Horse” doesn’t currently have a release date attached, but generally you can expect this pair as February approaches. Catch in-hand looks below.
