Nike Acg Lunar Macleay Sample 04 570x471

Here’s a sample look at a new upcoming ACG model, the Lunar Macleay. From first glance, one would recognize elements from one of our favorites, the AM95, with a similar toe and lacing system. Though D-rings are thrown into the mix for the outdoor feeling, yet it doesn’t disturb the look or that its inspired by a runner. What’s also intriguing is profile featuring embossed vertical panels rather than the distinguished horizontal gradient we see on the 95’s. Lunar Lite midsoles may seem almost too delicate for the ruggedness of ACG, but Wood Wood’s Lunarwood TZ showed how the new midsole can not only change perception of the line, but also mesh futuristic technology with a cult classic series within Nike. And like the aforementioned ACG Lunar, the Macleay gives a touch of speckle trim on the midsole for accent rather than taking away from the silhouette. We’re not sure if every potential CW will feature reflective accents, but its also some nice highlights- indicative of AM97 influence. Overall, we can see this being a very big ACG for the new generation of ‘heads. No word on any release info, but stay tuned. via CT
