Are you psyched up for the upcoming World Cup?! Nike Sportswear sure is, and they geared up Los Angeles’ Montalban flagship with more soccer stuff than you could shake a stick at. It’s not terribly uncommon to see stuff hanging from the ceiling at Nike retail spots, so the suspended soccer balls are a welcoming presence as you enter to find huge spreads of patriotic gear, including a neat Nike SB P-Rod collection of USA soccer gear. Best of all, on-site customization in the NikeiD Studio is free for any and all apparel!
The Montalban also has one of LA’s largest HD displays and many of the games will be broadcast live, plus there’s a (RED) lounge for you to kick back and watch all the kicking. Last but certainly not least in the redesign is a rooftop futsal pitch that’s practically begging for a Clerks redux. Everybody’s invited to pickup games overlooking Hollywood on Saturday frm 12-3pm and they’re even providing the kicks if you’re not properly equipped. Click the jump below for more photos.
