The HB0 show Entourage is like every man’s dream realized, where wrestling with the plunders of worldwide fame while having sports cars and hot chicks at your disposal is just part of every-day life. For sneakerheads, a dream would be to have a shoe specially designed just for you – and we’re not talking Nike iD. A few years back Jerry Ferrara’s character “Turtle” was excited to get pair of limited edition “Fukijama Air Force 1s“, spewing facts about the shoe while profusely explaining the importance of the kicks to his boy Vinny Chase. But Vinny refused to cut the camp-out line in front of Undefeated LA and Turtle was unable to get a pair, but Undefeated in Santa Monica was nice enough to hold a pair for Vinny – in return for a personal favor. Unfortunately Turtle missed out again because celebrity-pal and fellow shoe-head DJ AM swiped the last pair from under him. Turtle was clearly miffed at missing out, but in the end, ‘ol Vinny pulled some strings and managed to get Turtle a face-to-face meeting with the fictional Fukijama (played by Dante Basco, or ‘Rufio’ from Hook) while receiving a special 1-of-1 pair of Nike Air Force 1s.
The next Entourage-inspired pair of Nikes comes in the form of the Nike Hyperdunk, made just for Turtle; only ten pairs were created for Ferrara and his friends and family. It features a basic black and carolina blue colorway – the same color used in the Entourage x Nike Air Force 1 from a few years back – with a meticulous graphic on the toe taken after a turtle’s shell. These will surely be a lot tougher to get than the Entourage Forces – which are still floating around if you got the dough to spend.
