More and more previews continue to trickle out from Nike SB’s Spring 2011 footwear collection, and here’s our first close-up look at one of the Dunks that’ll drop once the calendar flips. This newly revealed Nike SB Dunk High ‘Fossil’ depicted above is named such for its color code that also includes another new shade dubbed ‘Grit’. As if those two new hues and the mix of suede and chambray on the upper weren’t enough to pique your interest, these Dunk High SBs are equipped with a new sole that spurred one of our readers to ask, “What is that in the Dunk sole? Zoom?” Our answer is that SB Dunks are all equipped with Zoom Air, but you’ll notice a new traction pattern that employs thinner concentric circles emanating from the pivot for better grip, along with enhancements in the hindfoot and a contrasting midfoot section to let you see they’re SB even at a glance.
