Nike’s push toward the inaugural World Basketball Festival in New York this August includes a new addition to the 21 Mercer St. Nike Sportswear flagship store. Right in the center in the store for just a short while was the Mobile Customization Lab, which is essentially a leaner version of the NIKEiD customization lab at 255 Elizabeth, hence the nickname ‘Mobile 255’. In conjunction with the drop of the Air Force 1 Five Boroughs Pack, customers were able to engrave one of the heel icons from the Boroughs Edition AF1s or the 1LOVE insignia that’s part of the WBF ‘Locally Celebrated’ theme.
