The Air Jordan VIII is featured as one of the inspirations behind the Air Jordan Six Rings, as Michael Jordan (with the help of John Paxson) defeated the Phoenix Suns in six games with the Black/Red Air Jordan VIII to finish up his first three-peat. A few years ago, Jordan Brand re-released the All-Star Air Jordan VIII (also known as the Aquas) and alongside that colorway was somewhat of a women’s “reverse” Aqua version that featured a white upper and a mix of Bright Concord, Aqua Tone, and some hints of yellow. That colorway is infused in this upcoming Air Jordan 6 Rings for kids, utilizing a similar mix of colors on the bottom sole, tongue, and anywhere else there might be an Air Jordan VIII designation.
