Recently Michael Jordan’s Love of the Game has shown itself in the form of a great university blue and white colorway, appearing on the classic Air Jordan IX as well as other new Jordan Brand designs. For the week leading up to the World Basketball Festival, the House of Hoops in Harlem has transformed itself into a Jordan Brand showcase, a museum of sorts in which Jordan’s effusive Love of the Game has spilled all over the venue. The ‘pulse’ of this beating heart could be this Air Jordan Legacy display in which the Air Jordan 1 to Air Jordan XXV (2010) colored up in University Blue and White; this Air Jordan ‘For the Love of the Game’ Collection is constructed in nubuck (and patent leather, where applicable), with each pair lined up side-by-side. Will these see a release? The Air Jordan 25th Anniversary Collection served as a display at first but released a few months after it was revealed, but the Air Jordan ‘History of Flight’ hasn’t seen any release. Continue reading for a look at all the displays at the Foot Locker House of Hoops in Harlem and let us know if the Air Jordan ‘For the Love of the Game’ display is the best Air Jordan display you’ve seen.
