Nike Aina Chukka – Obsidian – Spice – White

Earlier this year Sneaker News had the opportunity to interview Nathan VanHook, the designer of the Nike Aina Chukka, and we pretty much learned the ins and outs of the shoe. The origin of the name, the purpose behind the diamond stripe on the midsole, and the overall goal of this Nike Sportswear model were some of the questions that were answered by VanHook, but one aspect that cannot be questioned is this new colorway. Check out the Obsidian, Spice, and White colorway of the Aina; the suede upper returns but with a spice-red trim and inner lining, and overall provides an all-purpose look that the Aina was set to do from the start.
