Modern streetwear has its roots in the great pieces of American workwear, so combining perhaps *the* iconic skateboarding company with a brand known worldwide for its durable goods, and you’ve got all the makings of a superior release. The Carhartt x Vans Authentic is a followup of the 2008 collabo between these two that goes the less obvious route. While the ’08s were done in Carhartt’s indestructable canvas denim, these go for a mix of suede and ripstop nylon that’ll take a beating whether you skate in them or not. Pairs in black, olive green and khaki all have construction orange outsoles and will hit retailers in early November.
